Waikato Individualised Education Plan Seminar @ Parent to Parent Waikato
May 2 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

As a parent or caregiver of a student with special education needs you have a very important role in your child’s education.

You know your child better than anybody else. A partnership between you, the school and other professionals will enable your child to progress at their own pace towards agreed goals, and respond to challenges that will help them develop their potential in all areas of learning.

The IEP workshop is about knowing what your child is entitled to, and how you can ensure the best outcome for your child.

For families raising children with disabilities or health impairments.

Become a Support Parent

Often, parents whose children have been diagnosed with a disability just need someone on the same wavelength to speak to; someone who has been there and completely understands.

Are you are a good listener? Do you like to support others? Do you have a child or young person with a disability?

We provide two days of comprehensive training which looks at communication skills, grief issues and provides the opportunity for personal awareness where parents can consider their ability to support others in similar circumstances.

The course, morning teas and lunches are free.

If you would like more information, please contact us on 0508 236 236 or email either or
