The story of our new logo

P2P logos FINALLast weekend we launched our new logo at the Parent to Parent national conference in Hamilton.

The launch of the powerful new logo coincides with a growth phase in our organisation along with a renewed clarity and vigour. The logo’s powerful triumvirate relates  to our three key concepts: to inform, connect and support families across New Zealand.

As an organisation, we felt it was time to update our image and replace the prior logo that had been in use for the past 25 years; it had become dated and no longer clearly articulated the contemporary Parent to Parent.

The new logo is circular in shape, and incorporates three stylised figures, between which shared pathways are created. The colours chosen – aubergine, tangerine and mango – and in which the three stylised figures are depicted, suggest the different ages, genders, ethnicities and locations of the families we connect with and support across New Zealand.

“Parent to Parent celebrates its new public face at a time when we as an organisation are undergoing a significant growth phase,” Parent to Parent spokesperson Sue Pairaudeau said.

“Over the last year, we have provided more than 4,000 tailored information packs to New Zealand families that cover over 3600 conditions. Our volunteer support parent network now incorporates more than 650 volunteer support parents around the country.

“We are looking forward to working together to move into a new and exciting phase for Parent to Parent, as we recognise the strength of our volunteers, staff and families, and all those connected to Parent to Parent.”
