Do you support a disabled family member? Learn how new funding flexibility can be used to create tailor-made breaks for you and your whānau.

This brand new workshop series takes a look at how primary caregivers and the people they support are going beyond traditional forms of respite to create more authentic and meaningful breaks for their families and whānau. Across three online workshops you will:

  • Identify obstacles to ‘getting a break’
  • Understand what funding is available
  • Hear real life stories from families
  • Create a vision for the future
  • Learn how to apply Enabling Good Lives principles to your ‘breaks’

This not-to-be-missed event takes place across three days, with a 2-hour Zoom workshop each day. Many thanks to Care Matters and Te Pou for supporting this event.
