IMPORTANT NOTICE: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, and under guidance from the Ministry of Health, Parent to Parent is postponing all face to face events (including this event) until the end of April, effective immediately. This includes all coffee and support groups, training workshops, sibling events and all other face to face events. As always we are here to support you and your whānau, if you have any questions please get in touch with your local Parent to Parent Regional Coordinator.
Parent to Parent invites siblings aged 8-18 for an upcoming SibShop and activities at Adventure Southland.
This is an amazing opportunity for kids who have a brother or sister with a disability or health impairment to have a fun and interactive day where the focus is completely on them.
Siblings have the chance to share stories, learn strategies and make friends with other kids who are in similar circumstances and completely understand the unique relationship they have with their brother or sister.
Please note that siblings must not have a disability or health impairment themselves.
The SibShop, activity, lunch and refreshments are all provided at no cost thanks to funding from Care Matters.
