Renew, Connect & Reflect

Are you caring for a disabled, neurodiverse or health-impaired family member? This workshop is a space for you to regroup.

This event is now fully booked. Keep an eye on our events page for upcoming workshops in your region.

Essential for families and whānau new to the world of disability, or as a refresher course for those a bit further down the track, set your family up for long-term success with Renew, Connect & Reflect.

RENEW: your coping strategies for the stress, change and even grief that having a disabled child can bring.
CONNECT: with other parents and caregivers in the same situation. Many participants say they feel understood for the first time.
REFLECT: on your needs as well as the needs of your family and whānau, to enhance relationships and build emotional resilience.

This is our first, revised RENEW Course and will be facilitated by Karen Miles, CE of Parent to Parent. Karen has extensive experience in the case management and support of people with complex behavioural and medical needs, as well as in senior management across the  disability sector.

This workshop is free thanks to funding from Care Matters*
