Bay of Plenty Support Parent Training
May 18 @ 9:00 am – May 19 @ 3:00 pm

Do you have a child with a disability and consider yourself a good listener? Want to help those new to the world of disability?

Often, parents whose children have been diagnosed with a disability or health issue just need someone to talk to. Hearing others stories who are in similar circumstances and are a bit further down the track, whether it be about the good stuff or the challenging stuff, can be a positive and helpful experience.

We have an incredible team of support parent volunteers who provide amazing support to families and whānau in need. You can join the team too if you come to our Support Parent Training course where we look at communication skills, grief issues and provide an opportunity for personal awareness where you can consider your ability to support others.

If you have any queries please contact Breanna on 0508 236 236 or email breannat@parent2parent.org.nz
