A practical guide to Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney & Extended Guardianship
Oct 14 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Why do I need a Will and Enduring Power of Attorney? What happens if I don’t have one? What is Extended Guardianship?

It can be overwhelming trying to figure out all you need to know about legal documents that will help protect your family. Parent to Parent are hosting two workshops in collaboration with Rotorua RegionCommunity Law to help you understand the purpose of each document and guide you through the process of how to get one set up.

COST: Free. Light refreshments provided.

Wills Workshop: Wednesday 9th September, 10am, Westpac Bank Boardroom, Central Mall Rotorua

EPOA & Extended Guardianship Workshop: Wednesday 14th October, 10am, Westpac Bank Boardroom, Central Mall Rotorua

Renew Connect & Reflect workshop (Rotorua)
Nov 7 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Caring for a disabled child can come with a range of challenges, such as coping with stress, dealing with change, and building a resilient family in the face of adversity.

Perfect for families new to the world of disability, or as a refresher course for those a bit further down the track, set your family up for long-term joy and success with Renew, Connect & Reflect.

RENEW: Learn how to cope with the stress, change and even grief that having a disabled child can bring.

CONNECT: The benefits of meeting and relating to other parents in the same situation can be lifechanging. Many participants say they feel understood for the first time.

REFLECT: Thinking intentionally about the needs of you and your whānau, as well as how each family member communicates love, can enhance relationships and build emotional resilience.

Register today to secure your spot!

Cost: Free thanks to funding from Care Matters.

Your family must be eligible for disability support services to attend this workshop.
Please contact us if you are unsure of your eligibility.
