Parent to Parent is inviting you to the Beyond School Workshop! Aimed for whānau who care for a disabled child 14 years and older. This workshop is about preparing and planning for life after school, a time of uncertainty, change, and exciting possibilities.
We’ll be exploring a practical overview of legal rights, funding, and key systems. The aim is to provide your family with a clear overview and a strong, practical foundation for the transition out of the school environment. Joanne Lawless will be facilitating this workshop.
There will also be an opportunity to connect with other parents to discuss planning, reflect on experiences, and build future visions together. Participants will receive a takeaway toolkit or resource to help sustain momentum beyond the session. Lunch will be provided.
Please note that onsite parking is limited, with 15 spaces available. Additional parking is available at Westfield across the road or the Ronwood Avenue car park.
