Christchurch Wellbeing Movie Day

Kick back, tuck into the popcorn, and relax together!

Come and relax at Parent to Parent’s private screening of ‘I SWEAR’!

What does respite look like to you? Many Greater Canterbury families who filled out our survey mentioned that catching a daytime movie would be a real treat—and not something you’d think about doing while you’re home alone.

So, we’ve organised a free movie day at Alice Cinema & Film Specialists for Christchurch parents and fulltime caregivers of disabled loved ones to get together, kick back and relax. The movie screening will be in a private cinema just for our Christchurch parents and caregivers, where we’ll catch ‘I SWEAR’.

This day is all about having a little respite during the hours your loved one is occupied and connecting with other parents who ‘get it’. After the movie, Kai will be provided! Spaces are limited, so priority will be given to those living in the Christchurch region. Please contact Sophie Carter on sophiec@parent2parent.org.nz to register or to ask any questions.

Attendees must RSVP and indicate their postcode.
