Indian Mothers’ Group

To share experiences of raising a child with disabilities in a new culture.

Come along to connect with other Indian mothers and find support through shared experience.

An evening get-together to talk about the joys and challenges of raising a disabled child in New Zealand. With your input, we hope to make it a popular monthly event!

Join Neena Chauhan, resident of Te Puke, Community Liaison & multi-language teacher, who has spent 22 years working as an interpreter & translator in the Indian community. Neena will share her personal experiences and how she has worked to bridge gaps across communities.

For Indian mothers of children with physical/learning disabilities or high health needs. For more information, please call Neena on 021 242 8426.

Bring a plate, but only if you have time!
