IF is a type of person-directed funding from Whaikaha that gives disabled people and their families more choice in how they are supported to live their lives fully. It is available throughout New Zealand for eligible people who have been assessed to receive either:
• Home and Community Support Services, which includes help with household management and personal care.
• Respite services, taking a break: This can include facility-based respite, Carer Support and In-home Support.
Learn more about how IF increases your choice and control of who provides support and how and when you use it. From engaging support workers to work directly with you and the person in your care to purchases that support you in living a good life. Angela Ramos, Regional Coordinator, Auckland North, and Ciara O’Connor, Care Coordinator from Care on Call are facilitating this event.
This event is free thanks to funding from Foundation North.
This event is now fully booked.
