Learning about disability support services can feel overwhelming for many parents and caregivers. This workshop is designed to guide you through the supports available in your region, while also offering the chance to hear directly from professionals working within the disability support sector.
The aim is for participants to gain a clear overview of what disability support can look like, the services available locally, and how to access and engage with the supports your family may need. Topics will include current funding options, recent changes, and what they mean for families.
The session will be facilitated by Marshall Te Tau, Whaiātea at Access Community Health. An opportunity to send your questions prior to the event will be available. Light morning tea to be provided.
This workshop is free! Thanks to funding from Care Matters.
