Navigating the system

Do you have a disabled child, a neurodivergent child, or a child with a health impairment? Learn more about what supports are available and how to access them.

Learning about the various disability support services can be overwhelming for many parents and caregivers. This workshop explores what supports are available in your region, and gives participants the opportunity to hear from professionals who work in the sector. Learn more about:

• Topic 1: What does support look like

• Topic 2: What supports are available locally

• Topic 3: How to engage in much needed supports

Jane Ford (CBOP Regional Coordinator for Parent to Parent) will be facilitating this event alongside Jack Baigent, Regional Coordinator for Wellington. Lunch and hot drinks will be provided.

This workshop replaces the parent support group that was published on the website for 13th March.

This workshop is free thanks to funding from Wellington City Council.
