Shape, Sound & Soar is a special day designed for parents and siblings of children with disabilities, neurodivergence, or health challenges, where the focus is entirely on them.
Alongside an unforgettable adventure of pottery making, sound and vibrational healing, and riding the Skyline Gondola and Luge, families will have the opportunity to come together in a safe, supportive space to share what it’s like to have a disabled sibling—surrounded by others who truly understand.
The day begins at the Arts Village, where children explore creativity through hand-building and wheel-throwing pottery, while parents experience the calming practice of Tibetan singing bowls. After lunch together, everyone heads to Skyline for an exciting gondola ride and luge experience. Spaces are limited, so be quick. This is an experience not to be missed.
For parents and siblings who have a disabled, neurodivergent or health-impaired sibling. Lunch will be provided.
This event is free, thanks to funding from the Rotorua Trust.
