Sib Fun Day at Gore Multisports Complex

A fun-filled day for kids and teens who have a disabled or neurodivergent sibling.

Come to Gore Multisports Complex with us! Our Sib Fun Day is for siblings to have fun and connect with other kids who just ‘get it’.

This popular event offers the opportunity for children and youth aged 8-18 with a disabled, neurodivergent or health impaired brother or sister to have a day where the focus and attention is just on them.

Run, hide, and compete with exciting activities including Laser Tag and Soccer Darts! As well as having an ultimate action-packed time, siblings will get the chance to meet others who know what it’s like having a disabled sibling, in a safe environment with others who know just where they are coming from. And did we mention there will be tasty kai?

Spaces are limited, so attendees must register. Contact MaryAnn Hughes on maryann@parent2parent.org.nz with the name and age of your child, dietary requirements, and the parent/carer contact number. Get in quick! Registrations close 3rd September.

This event is free, thanks to funding from Hokonui Community Led-Health, Hokonui Hauora Fund. Lunch will be provided!
