SibShop & Laser Strike

A fun-filled day for kids and teens who have a disabled or neurodivergent sibling.

Come to Laser Strike with us! Our SibShops are a day for siblings to have fun and connect with other kids who just ‘get it’.

Our popular SibShops offer the opportunity for children and youth aged 8-18 with a disabled, neurodivergent or health impaired brother or sister to have a day where the focus and attention is just on them.

As well as having a fantastic time playing Laser Strike that uses the Intelligent Targeting Systems (I.T.S.), three different cool laser strike blasters and strike target, these siblings will get the chance to sit down together and talk about what it’s like having a disabled sibling, in a safe environment with others who know just where they are coming from. Run by siblings for siblings, SibShops provide a space to discuss practical tips and strategies to help them thrive in their own unique family and whānau environment. Our SibShops are incredibly popular so get in quick! Lunch will be provided.

This event is free, thanks to funding from The IHC Foundation.
