Our popular SibShops offer the opportunity for children and youth with a disabled brother or sister to have a day where the focus is just on them.
As well as having a blast at Laserforce, siblings will get the chance to sit down together and talk about what it’s like having a disabled sibling, in a safe environment with others who know just where they are coming from. Run by siblings for siblings, SibShops provide a space to discuss practical tips and strategies to help them thrive in their own unique family and whānau environment. Our SibShops are incredibly popular so get in quick!
The event starts at Aristotles North Shore, then the siblings will walk 260m to Laserforce Auckland at 21 Link Drive, Wairau Valley for pick-up at 3:00pm.
Who: Children and youth aged 8-18 who have a disabled, neurodivergent or health impaired sibling.
When: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Cost: These workshops are free, thanks to the funding from the IHC Foundation.
