Wellbeing Day

Virtual Reality and Retro Gaming

This day is all about you, your wellbeing, your peace of mind, and building connections with others who truly “get it.”

Join us for a night of escape! Parent to Parent Greater Canterbury invites parents, caregivers, and siblings to a free evening at Virtual & Retro. Whether you’re a VR expert or trying it for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Explore Mt. Everest, brave the thrilling Richie’s Plank Experience, relax underwater with TheBlu, box with Rocky, survive zombies, race in our big-screen simulators, or enjoy classic Sega games for a nostalgic throwback. Younger gamers can also jump into Job Simulator, Gorilla Tag, Fortnite, or Roblox.

Hosted by a fellow Parent to Parent member, this is a safe, inclusive, and fun chance to unwind, connect, and try something new. Spaces are limited to make sure everyone gets plenty of play time, so registration is essential. Please RSVP to Sophie to secure your spot.

Please note: The venue is located upstairs and currently does not have accessible entry.

This event is FREE for parents and caregivers of disabled loved ones. Shared Kai will be provided.
