Whānau Awhi Summer Pool Party

A family fun swim day for families and whānau with disabled, neurodivergent, or health-impaired children.

Come along for a splash at the Maurie Kjar Aquatic Centre! This exciting family fun day is for all ages to enjoy.

Parent to Parent is excited to invite our Coastal Bay of Plenty families to a special day at the pools.

This free swim day is open to all family members and is a wonderful opportunity to relax, have fun, and connect with other families who have a disabled loved one. Come along to enjoy the water, make new friends, and spend time together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

A lifeguard will be on duty throughout the event. However, parental supervision is required at all times, and children under five must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver in the water.

Lunch will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring a plate to share if you wish.

Spaces are limited and these events are always popular, so be sure to RSVP early. We look forward to welcoming you for a fun and relaxing day at the pools!

This event is free, thanks to the support of Whānau Awhi Ōpōtiki.
