Parent to Parent NZ presents: Champion Your Needs Workshop

Parent to Parent NZ presents: Champion Your Needs Workshop

Do you have a disabled child? Are you struggling to get what you need from education, health or disability professionals?

Many parents and caregivers feel overwhelmed with the sheer number of professionals they need to communicate with in order to get the best for their disabled child or child with a health impairment.

This comprehensive workshop will teach you how to champion your needs in any setting. From assertiveness skills and active listening to negotiation and problem solving, you will come away with a range of new tools to effectively communicate the needs of your child, yourself and your loved ones.

You will also have the opportunity to learn what specific support services and resources are available in your region. Register today to secure your spot! Many thanks to W Duncan Bickley Trust Fund for supporting this event.

When: 9:30am—4:30pm

Parent to Parent NZ presents: Making Family Decisions

Come along to Making Family Decisions! For families with children that have a disability or health impairment.

We would love to have you join us at our Making Family Decisions event.

This is a free information evening brought to you by the Southland Community Law Centre. It is an opportunity to have any questions answered about the care and property of a loved one that cannot make decisions for themselves. SCLC will help guide you to understand legal documents that can protect your family and how to set them up.

We ask that everyone please exercise common decency and respect for each other and beliefs. This event is sure to be popular, so register today to secure your spot!

In partnership with Southland Community Law Centre.
